Created by Louis Cartier in 1917, the Tank family’s first prototype was presented to General Pershing of the American army during World War I. The pinnacle of luxurious watch design, this Cartier Tank Francasie Ladies’ Watch reworks a classic model, bringing it inline with contemporary aesthetics. Boasting a stylish curved case, a chain-link stainless steel bracelet and an octagonal crown set with a synthetic cabochon-shaped spinel, this timepiece is striking in every way. The lacquered silvered flinqué dial is equipped with sword-shaped hands in blued-steel and protective Sapphire crystal lens. However, the jewel in its crown is the 11 brilliant-cut diamonds, which add yet another exciting dimension to this wonderful timepiece. This watch is also water resistant to 30 metres.
